Hale Kiapu — House of Kiapu — is the name of our residential campus at 525 Kiapu Place in Honolulu’s Liliha neighborhood. The name reflects what we strive to be: not a facility, but a home, rooted in the quiet street where our community has stood for nearly a century.

Home is more than a roof and a bed. At Korean Care Home, we work every day to create an environment where residents feel engaged, nourished, and genuinely at ease — surrounded by familiar culture, people who know their names, and a community that feels like family.

Our Grounds

Set on a quiet residential street in Liliha, the property is a true Hawaiian home — shaded by mature mango trees, bright with bougainvillea and croton, and laid out so residents always have a comfortable spot to sit outdoors.

Korean Care Home provides around-the-clock residential care to 31 residents, regardless of ethnic background. Our services are organized to support the whole person — clinical needs, daily living, and quality of life.

Nursing Care

Our nursing care services are delivered by trained staff available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

24-hour supervision
Administration of medications
Assisting residents with ambulation and transfers
Assisting residents with toileting and bathing
Assisting residents with dressing and grooming
Nutritious meals and snacks
Special diets provided as needed

Other Supportive Services

Housekeeping and laundry service
Arranging medical appointments
Transportation to and from medical appointments
Companionship
Communicating with family and doctors regarding any changes in condition

Activities

Our activity coordinator leads a full program designed to keep residents engaged, connected, and joyful.
